Trial Instructional Flight (TIF)

The best place to start.

A Trial Introductory Flight is your first flying lesson and the ideal introduction to helicopter aviation.

You'll meet your instructor, learn how helicopters fly and experience the controls for yourself.

No previous flying experience is required.

Recreational Pilot Licence

Fly for the enjoyment of flying.

The Recreational Pilot Licence is designed for people who simply want to fly helicopters for recreation.

It provides the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a helicopter while building the foundation for future training.

Recreational pilots. Helicopter owners. Aviation enthusiasts

Private Pilot Licence

Fly further and share the experience.

The Private Pilot Licence expands your flying privileges and allows you to carry passengers throughout Australia under Visual Flight Rules (VFR).

Many people complete a PPL(H) purely for the enjoyment of flying, while others use it as the next step towards a commercial licence.

Commercial Pilot Licence

Turn your passion into a career.

The Commercial Pilot Licence is the qualification required to work as a professional helicopter pilot.

It combines advanced flight training with aviation theory and prepares students for careers across tourism, charter, aerial work and many other sectors of the helicopter industry.
